NORMIC ROLLER
Normic Rollers, handcrafted and made with the new corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum alloy, are even more flexible and durable. Their main feature is the self-return, which facilitates the fishing rod's return to position. The special shape prevents the line (whether nylon or braid) from getting tangled and always allows it to run freely. The stainless steel micro ball bearings are protected by a patented Teflon gasket and a layer of special grease that prevents any water penetration into the roller, ensuring smooth operation and reliability over time.
Creation of Normic Fishing Rod Rollers
Normic rollers are manufactured using a technique perfected by CEO Michele Nodari 20 years ago. They are processed one by one, completely by hand, with meticulous attention to detail. The predominant material in Normic rollers is a composite aluminum alloy, with one part Anticorodal and another part Avional.
The roller is cut from the customized Normic profile, depending on the size and line class required for the fishing rod. Immediately afterwards, they are hand-milled and checked in every detail. During processing, they are bent, bored, and brought to calibration, and then, finally, all internal guides are hand-filed, the sharp edge is removed, and they are tumbled, polished, and anodized.
The main reason for this meticulous control and attention to detail is the stage following the creation of the frame: the assembly stage.
During the assembly phase, the pin is assembled, with the bearing and the Teflon cheek that makes it waterproof. Waterproofing is ensured by the zinc grease with which the bearing is inserted into the frame. Everything is assembled and calibrated by hand, to ensure the perfection of each piece.
The material of the roller itself is 316L steel, a particular corrosion-resistant metal. The ball bearing, which has incredible smoothness, is made of Japanese 430AISI hardened stainless steel.
The unique feature of these rollers, which we can consider everlasting, is their elastic composition that aids the blank in the return action.
Two different models of Normic rollers are created:
- Speedy 1 - The version for fishing rods with low line classes;
- Speedy 2 – The version for fishing rods with higher line classes.
A TIP for roller maintenance: every 5 washes of the fishing rod, spray a little oil on the roller to combat the salt that might deposit on the upper part.
The TIP TOP mounted at the end of the fishing rod is made of a very resistant aluminum with one part Anticorodal 6082 and another part Avional. Additionally, there is also the option to mount a titanium tip top. These highly resistant materials ensure stability and precision during line passage, even externally when the fishing rod is working sideways.

** Both sizes are available in all 6 colors: gold, silver, black, red, blue, and green.
