The big tuna have finally arrived! 🎣

Michele Nodari, the founder of Normic, explains what's happening in Italian seas with the return of giant tuna! 🐟

Around the year 2000, Giant Tuna, beautiful and combative, disappeared from Italian seas. The causes were various: climate change, intensive fishing, and the absence of their main food source, mackerel weighing 3 hectograms and up.

Finally, in recent months, there have been several sightings of Giant Tuna in Italian seas. THE BIG TUNA ARE COMING! 🎣

Normic Fishing Rods, manufactured to achieve record-breaking performance, are the most suitable for catching tuna of this size!

With 30 years of experience, both as builders and fishermen, we have created high-performing blanks that allow the fisherman to exert little effort and catch the fish.

The main features of Normic blanks, with ANS technology, are reactivity, speed, and tip action! The latest blanks are made of Kevlar, Carbon, and Fiberless, giving the fisherman maximum reliability in strength and performance!

Our ringed or roller fishing rods, with their tip action, guarantee record-breaking performance for the fisherman, without causing fatigue! In fact, the fisherman will no longer have to accommodate the fish; the fishing rod will follow it and do most of the work.

To manage and catch tuna weighing over 100kg, the most suitable rods are those starting from 50/80LBS.

A COUPLE OF TIPS FROM MICHELE NODARI:

How to recognize a fishing rod that is working incorrectly?
If the fishing rod is under arching tension, with the handle also bending, or the tip touches the water when the fish is under the boat, then the rod is not suitable for tuna fishing. You will only put in a lot of effort and risk losing the tuna!

Straight or curved handle for Stand-Up fishing?
With significant, large tuna, it is completely wrong to use fishing rods with a straight handle due to the fisherman's center of gravity. A curved handle must absolutely be used!
